CNA Bath/Shower Aide

Provide each resident with a full body bath, shower, or whirlpool in accordance with the plan of care and as directed by supervisor.  Performs at least a weekly inspection of resident’s full body for any skin problems and reports them to Unit Manager. Works Monday - Friday 6AM - 2PM, every other holiday.  Performs other CNA duties as needed

• A current, unencumbered, active New York State CNA certification.
• A minimum of one year experience in long-term care as a CNA.
• Attend 12 hours of inservice annually.
• Must be able to pass physical examination upon employment.
• Must be able to flex time according to resident needs

• Provide each resident with a full body bath, shower, or whirlpool in accordance with the plan of care.
• Inspect each resident’s full body for any skin problems (actual or potential) with each bath, shower, or whirlpool; and report any changes to Charge Nurse or Unit Manager.
• Clean and trim fingernails.
• Trim toenails as directed by Charge Nurse.
• Perform other CNA duties as directed by Supervisor.
• Assists Residents with meals.
• Obtain monthly and weekly weights
